A bit about this pedal model:
The MXR Distortion+ pedal was one of the earlier distortion pedals of choice by guitarists starting in the mid 1970’s, which was when the pedal used for this capture was manufactured. It is a meduim-heavy distortion pedal which featured only two controls: “Output” and “Distortion”. These presets were built with three distortion level settings: Low (Lo), Medium (Md) and High (Hi). A touch of compression and reverb was added for color.
