A bit about this amp model:
The “Mesa-Boogie Express 5:50” is a 50w, 2x6L6 tube combo amplifier, with two switchable channels, each consisting of two different voicing modes; for a total of four possible sounds. While the two-channel design is normally thought of as clean and overdrive, the clean channel’s second mode is a “crunch” mode. Thus what you really have is one clean channel and three overdrive channels. All four channel modes were captured at moderate gain level settings for the most expressive tone from this amp.
The four modes are: “Clean”, “Crunch”, “Blues” and “Burn”.
