A bit about this amplifier model:
The “Henriksen Bud 6” is a 120w, two-channel, hand-built compact solid state Class-D amplifier, built with a special full-range 6” speaker and a tweeter, which can be switched off if desired. For such a small amplifier, it has a very big sound, which we took advantage of by using a Shure SM7B microphone, which has a larger diaphragm, providing a more full-range capture. The amplifier works equally well with both acoustic (steel string and nylon string) guitars; and with jazz hollowbody guitars - and even solidbody guitars and pedals. This preset pack features amp settings for both acoustic and jazz hollowbody guitars. The acoustic presets are both direct and speaker cabinet mic’d. The jazz hollowbody presets include direct, cabinet and cabinet with tweeter-off. Please note: an acoustic guitar amplifier model will not make your electric guitar sound like an acoustic guitar; but it will enhance the sound of your acoustic-electric guitar.
